The south facing slope of Coed Sena sits tucked away in beautiful, peaceful North Pembrokeshire countryside, overlooking woodland to the front and with pastureland behind it. Coed Sena slopes up from its southern edge, very gently to start with and it is easy to access the woodland from the south eastern corner and make your way through the Sitka. The ruins of a small stone building, a reminder of the time when there was a small settlement of farm workers presumably living here. Now it offers potential to rebuild a woodland folly! Ivy and ferns proliferate the forest floor here and the ground between is thick with spruce needles.

An old forest track traverses the woodland west to east about mid point up the slope, providing useful level ground in the higher reaches of the woodland as well as easy access between the west and east boundary. This would be a great place for wildlife or bird watching, or a place for forestry or bushcraft tasks.

The woodland above the track, up to the northern boundary is predominantly broadleaf, carpeted with bluebells below, with other wildflowers to follow; pink campion, white woodland anemone and oxalis to name a few.
