The main house is a handsome Grade II Listed building thought to date in part from the 15th century with later 17th and 19th century additions and incorporating beautifully presented family accommodation amounting to in excess of 3,500 sq ft. The property benefits from of a variety of listed period outbuildings that would have been part of the original farmstead, including a most impressive timber framed barn of substantial proportions and a detached unconverted oast which has planning to adjoin to the main house via a glazed link, ultimately creating further reception rooms, bedrooms and a bathroom for ancillary purposes.

Broadlake is approached via a private drive leading to an area of parking for a number of cars.
The attractive gardens surround the house, the lawns are interspersed with varieties of mature and specimen trees and shrubs, rose beds and an array of planted borders providing year round seasonal colour and interest. To the north of the house and gardens lies the all-weather tennis court.
Extensive outbuildings currently comprise a listed timber framed barn which incorporates garaging and store rooms, a detached open bay store with adjoining stores, a stable block incorporating 8 stables and store room, a period weatherboard granary/games room and the old oast, barn and adjacent former pigsties.
The remaining land extends to the north, south and west of the gardens and includes several fenced fields which are currently down to grazing.

The listed oast, barn and adjoining buildings offer excellent potential for further enhancement, benefiting from planning for conversion. Please contact our office for further details.
