Lakenheath is a village situated in the Forest Heath district of Suffolk, close to the county boundaries of both Norfolk and Cambridgeshire with good transport connections. The village has a single Victorian primary school, a small shopping street, with one grocery store, one newsagents, an optician's, a clothes boutique, a Chinese takeaway & restaurant, two fish and chip shops, an Indian restaurant plus Jamaican and Filipino restaurants. The village has a library with wireless internet, scanning, printing and photocopying facilities. Along this road there is a small hotel, skate park, a Playing Field and a children's play park. Lakenheath is remarkable for its medieval church, built about 900 years ago in wood, eventually being rebuilt in the local flint construction style.

The property has a stunning and spacious entrance hall with galleried landing above and downstairs cloakroom to the right hand side. Through a door to the left is the impressive open plan kitchen/dining/family room which has quarry tiled flooring and underfloor piped heating. The kitchen has white floor and wall units and glistening red mosaic tiling with gold leaf extract. Double ovens with warming drawer, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher and bins are all integrated in the kitchen and there is additional breakfast bar space on the left hand side. An open brick fireplace makes the seating area in this room a warm and cosy place for all the family. A separate utility room with space for further appliances and access to the rear is located just off the kitchen. The living room is again a large space with dual aspect and rear access. A striking fireplace with marble surround is at one end and an oak bar has been installed at the other end beside the sliding doors making a perfect feature for when entertaining guests during the summer months. A large dining room is located centrally off of the hall and features a serving hatch through to the kitchen and sliding doors to the rear patio.

On the first floor the master suite is an amazing size with fitted wardrobes in the dressing room space as you enter and the main bedroom area is set through an open archway before reaching the en suite bathroom and sliding doors to the balcony, which is perfect for a morning coffee. There are two further double bedrooms on this floor, one of which benefits from fitted wardrobes and bookshelf. The main family bathroom has a panel bath and separate shower unit.

The second floor provides further accommodation which is currently being used as annexe accommodation for a family member with a living room, bedroom and bathroom, however this could simply be used as two further bedrooms. Both benefit from velux windows and are spacious and light rooms.

The main gardens wraparound the property and calculate to approximately 2 acres. These gardens are bordered and sheltered by mature conifers all round and six stables are set off to the left hand side. The driveway leads to ample parking space and a double garage with up and over doors set just to the side of the main house. A rear patio makes a perfect space for al fresco dining.

A further 8 acres of grazing land is to the rear of the plot and opens onto uninterrupted countryside views.

At the far end of the plot is another 4 acres of land with a lake which has been used for leisure fishing over the years.
